Autonomy
The bracelet does not show record values for this parameter. So, with several dozen notifications per day, average display brightness, sleep tracking and constant operation of the heart rate monitor, the bracelet lives from 5 to 7 days. This is not the most outstanding result. But, as I already said, HUAWEI Band 4 offers an undeniable bonus - charging without additional accessories. Insert the capsule with electronics into the USB port and after about 1 hour 45 minutes the bracelet will be fully charged. And it's very convenient.

ITC.UA rating
Pros: built-in charging connector, comfortable strap, cost
Cons: autonomy
Conclusion: HUAWEI Band 4 turned out to be controversial. On the one hand, this is a convenient and inexpensive fitness tracker with a rare feature in the form of a built-in charging plug. But, on the other hand, the display turned out to be simple, the level of functionality is minimally sufficient, and the autonomy does not shine. In this light, Honor Band 5 looks even more attractive, because it is equipped with a full AMOLED display and has a pulse oximeter function. Yes, you will need a standard adapter to charge it, but that's the only drawback. Moreover, HUAWEI/Honor products have another competitor with noticeably higher autonomy - Mi Smart Band 4 from Xiaomi, which cannot be ignored, and its price has already dropped to the minimum value

Battery and operating time
In the case of the smart bracelet, there is a Huawei Talkband B6 battery with a capacity of 120 mAh. As my practice has shown, after half an hour of conversation the battery was discharged by 7%. That is, a full battery charge will last approximately 7 hours.
On average, the user will be able to get about 3 days of battery life with active use and calls. But I assume the device will have to be changed every two days.
But the positive point is fast charging and in 45 minutes the smart bracelet was charged from 0 to 100% via a Type-C connection.
Easy to read display
The 1.47-inch screen remains readable in any conditions; the brightness does not have to be turned up above level 3 out of 5. The oleophobic coating helps maintain a neat appearance. To turn it off, just cover the bracelet with your palm when the dial is open.
There is no permanent time display; the display is activated by a button or a familiar gesture. The sensor reacts to almost every swing, and this gets in the way at night before bed, when you toss and turn in search of a good position. To get rid of this problem, you have to enable the Do Not Disturb mode, which also gets rid of unwanted notifications. For users with an established sleep pattern, Do Not Disturb can be automatically activated according to a schedule.
Full functionality
The capabilities are completely identical to HONOR Band 6, which means that all use cases are relevant. In particular, displaying time and weather, receiving notifications, as well as alarm, stopwatch and timer functions. Only the dials were left unnoticed by the Russifiers; otherwise the translation is very competent.
Notifications arrive in a general stream and are not grouped in any way. The screen displays text without emojis or pictures. The call can be rejected; picking up the phone is not provided. As a result, after assessing the importance of the message, you have to take out your smartphone.
Enlarging the display has benefited the player's controls. Now all five buttons fit on the screen: pause, forward, back, as well as volume up and down.
The bracelet is primarily designed to track physical activity. The list of features includes: counting steps, measuring heart rate and blood oxygen saturation levels, assessing sleep and maintaining a women's calendar. Workouts such as walking, running, elliptical and rowing machine start automatically, 6 more types are available for manual start from the menu. All information received is aggregated in the Health application, synchronized via the Huawei cloud and added to Google Fit. The bracelet can be used for swimming, this is facilitated by 5 ATM moisture protection and the corresponding training mode in the menu.
The readings of an optical heart rate monitor are comparable to a home automatic blood pressure monitor, which also measures your pulse.

Design, build quality and materials
The Huawei Talkband B6 smart bracelet is available in two versions - a plastic case and a metal one. Both versions are well assembled and I have no complaints about the build quality.
But the difference between a plastic and metal case is the price. It differs almost twice, but whether it’s worth overpaying for a metal case is up to you to decide.
On the front of the bracelet there is a large rounded 1.53-inch AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 326 PPI. That is, the screen resolution was 460x188 pixels. The quality of the screen matrix itself is at a high level and I did not find any strong drawbacks when using smart bracelets.
The screen has good contrast, high brightness and rich color rendition. During testing, the bracelet was comfortable to use, and most importantly, everything was legible.
On the right side of the case there is a mechanical power button that turns the smart bracelet on and off.
In addition, it is not difficult to see one button on the side on the ends at the bottom of the case. When these two buttons are pressed simultaneously, the bracelet capsule with a slight movement pops out of the strap body.
At the bottom of the end there is a charging port, and inside there is a sound guide with an ear cushion. There are several pairs of ear tips included in the package, and you can easily choose the ear canal to suit your size.
The bracelet itself received water protection according to the IP57 standard. This is not complete protection against water and you absolutely cannot swim with the Talkband B6 bracelet in the shower or in the pool.
The capsule weighs only 29 grams and is quite comfortable to wear in the ear. Choosing the right ear tips with a special ear tip will prevent the headset body from falling out even during a fast run.
The strap is made of leather material and has a width of 16 mm. Already, Chinese stores offer many options for bracelets, including a metal version.
In general, the Huawei Talkband B6 smart bracelet has very high quality materials for use. Also, the build quality has not suffered; all elements are assembled at the highest level. Now let's talk a little about the functionality and quality of the microphone and sound.
Price and where to buy cheaper?
Now you can buy a smart bracelet with the ability to answer calls Huawei Talkband B6 for $99.89 with a 30% discount and this is for the plastic version. If we consider the option with metal cases, the price doubles - $196.
I definitely liked the smartband, but given the price, you can buy a decent smartband and wireless headphones separately. Therefore, when choosing a purchase, it’s up to you to decide.
