Huawei showed the appearance of Huawei P50, cool monitors and TV

When such a large company as Huawei holds a big presentation at which it shows much more than was expected from it, you want to talk about it again and again. Especially when she is in a position that we all know about. But we haven’t finished discussing new products in the first round yet and we still have something to talk about. Especially considering that some of them will be sold in Russia and will have almost no connection to the main ecosystem. That is, when buying these products, you can use them without thinking about whether you have a branded smartphone. The new products that will be discussed are two monitors, cool TVs and even the long-awaited Huawei P50 smartphone.

Many wanted it, but not many expected it.

    Huawei MateView Monitor

Also at the presentation, the company announced the launch of a line of Huawei MateView Series monitors ( Huawei MateView and Huawei MateView GT . It’s nice that these are not just monitors, but all in one. They even have the function of turning your phone into a computer. You just need to attach it to the stand and can be used.

It is pleasant to work and relax behind such a monitor.

Both monitors can work wirelessly, but if you need to connect something to them, then there are many connectors in the leg for this. Moreover, both from the side and from behind. And at the bottom there is a touch panel for controlling both the functions of the monitor itself and the phone connected to it, if you choose this mode of use.

Huawei MateView is a large 4K+ Ultra HD monitor with a professional-grade matrix , 28.2-inch screen, 3:2 aspect ratio, 3840 × 2560 pixels resolution and 94% usable area.

There are enough connections. And the location of the connectors is very convenient.

The manufacturer assures that each monitor in the series undergoes professional calibration at the factory to ensure high color accuracy. This has earned them VESA DisplayHDR™ 400 certification. It is capable of displaying 98% of the DCI-P3 color space and 100% of the sRGB color space. There is even a TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certificate. This means it is safe for the eyes.

Huawei has introduced HarmonyOS for everyone. What is it and where can it be installed?

Huawei MateView has two forward-facing speakers built-in. In theory, they should provide good sound, but in any case, it’s nice that they are there and for regular listening to music or watching a video with sound from time to time, they should be enough. There are also microphones that should pick up sounds at a distance of up to 4 meters . This is a good indicator.

With this Huawei MateView GT it is convenient to work and play.

Huawei MateView GT monitor features a curved ultra-wide screen with support for a 165Hz refresh rate. It even has a built-in soundbar. This is Huawei's first curved screen monitor, which has an aspect ratio of 21:9 and features a 34-inch panel with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. This format is suitable for games and work.

The monitor has a peak brightness of 350 nits, a contrast ratio of 4000:1, and HDR 10 technology should ensure realistic display of visual content. It also has other useful features, including software solutions for gamers that cover many of their needs.

This soundbar will help many people give up speakers.

There is no exact information on sales in Russia yet, but sales here would be great news. Personally, I would use this. Although other manufacturers also have similar ultra-wide monitors.

Huawei introduced the new FreeBuds 4, Watch 3 and the MatePad Pro super tablet.

    Huawei Vision S TV

Compared to all other products, the new Huawei Vision S TV stands out. It is available with a diagonal of 55 and 65 inches. The price for the models will be 59,990 and 89,990 respectively . It's not that expensive considering the average market prices. Moreover, both new products will support a refresh rate of 120 Hz. With the ability to convert the image “on the fly” and refine it to these values.

Inside the TVs there is a 4-core processor with a 4-core graphics model, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of permanent memory and the proprietary HarmonyOS operating system.

A TV with thin bezels is always good.

There is even a voice assistant called Salyut, which will allow you to control TVs and even make video calls via Telegram or the proprietary MeeTime. To do this, the TV is equipped with a special 13-megapixel camera, which is mounted on top and can easily bend in all directions.

In addition to the high refresh rate, Huawei Vision S offers 92% coverage of the DCI-P3 color palette, a maximum brightness of 350 nits and is certified by TÜV Rheinland, which indicate that it is relatively safe for the eyes due to its low level of blue radiation.

There are 4 speakers at the front with a total power of 10 W. I would still use at least a soundbar, but the presence of such a “boxed solution” cannot but please me.

The prices are not that low, but it will be difficult to find a quality product cheaper.

Naturally, the TV, running on HarmonyOS, offers a large number of integration options with other devices. There are also many applications, among which there are all the main movie services and others.

Pre-orders for Huawei Vision S will be accepted from June 22 , and from July 2, TVs will appear in partner stores. If you are interested in them, the company is now offering good bonuses for purchases. For example, an additional discount for pre-ordering and a tablet as a gift.

    Huawei smartphones - customer reviews

    Advantages:

Limitations of the text for reviews, you have to start here, continued in the comments. Yesterday I bought it for my wife to replace a Samsung that had disappeared somewhere. In principle, she liked it, but it was already 4 years old, I had been looking for a replacement for a long time, it would have dragged on further, but this incident sped up the process. According to my impressions for the day: 1. Price, how For me, it’s still a little expensive at the start of sales, if you take it on a promotion for 13990, that’s it. I bought it in Svyaznoy without a promotion, because I had Kukuruza points, I saved a lot - I paid only 10 thousand for the rest. This price is for this smartphone generally turned out to be below the lowest. 2. Complete set. I bought a shimmering blue one. For some reason on the websites it has some kind of green tint, in fact it’s really blue and just gorgeous, especially in the shimmering light. The sellers, it seems, didn’t know what was in the box, they started offer a protective film, a case, etc. When they opened the box, there was a transparent case in it, and a factory film was pasted on the screen, everyone was surprised, and the question immediately disappeared. So the bonus turned out to be very pleasant. 3. OLED screen, of course excellent. The colors are bright, rich. Without frames - it looks cool! There was an eye protection item in the settings, but the whole screen turned blue, I didn’t like it, I left it at the discretion of my wife. Automatic backlighting for me too I didn’t like it. Everything looks great in the light, but as soon as I moved into a dark room the brightness dropped, it became uncomfortable to look at the screen. For me it’s easier to set the brightness to the average value and normal. I also left it at the discretion of my wife. 4. Camera. In my ZTE in the settings everything is clear - it says select so many MP. Here the format is indicated by the scale, I haven’t figured out yet how to set the maximum 48 MP, I’ll have to look on the Internet. We took the first night photo - I think it’s so gorgeous, especially for a budget option, I attached a photo to the review. 5. Battery. When purchased, the charge was 60%. I spent the whole evening setting up, connecting the Internet via Wi-Fi, loading applications, in general, in the morning it showed another 32% left. Excellent result.

    Flaws:

Well, from the first days of use, there is one remark so far, not critical, but simply somewhat inconvenient. 1. A 48MP photo is taken in “Pro” mode. After shooting, when you exit the Camera application, this setting is reset and you have to set the mode again. It’s also uncritical, but inconvenient.

    6. Applications. There is no Google at all. Because of this, there was agony of choice, but the end of the world without Google turned out to be completely exaggerated. There is an AppGallery store and the installed Petal Search application. All messengers, social networks, online banks are available, everything is installed with one click. I calmed down and installed everything. 7. Stuffing. There is a lot of talk about an “old” and bad processor. As for me, we don’t play big games, just some apps, calls, etc. - there are no problems with this, everything works perfectly, nothing froze during the evening of torment, everything worked quickly and as expected. No complaints. 8. Memory. 128 GB - where to put it? Great option. There is also the possibility of inserting a card into the second slot, but there is some kind of NM there, it seems we don’t have them. But if someone needs it, I think they can order it from Ali. Summary: The phone is wonderful (we'll see, of course, what happens in a year)))), showed itself to be excellent during the evening. There are no complaints against him yet. There is no need to be afraid of the absence of Google, everything is simply in their store, at least what the wife needed - everything was found in two applications (see above), everything works. There really was a feeling of envy towards my wife))))

When will Huawei P50 be released?

They also spoke about the Huawei P50 at the presentation. The only truth is that it will come later. We were shown a promotional video, from which it became clear what the new phone will look like. And the most important thing is that the rumors did not lie and it really will happen.

Essentially, that's all we know about the Huawei P50. But this is official information.

Rumors have also confirmed his appearance, which matches the leaks we've seen lately. The key design element will be two large modules on the back wall , which will house the cameras. It will look at least unusual.

No more information about the phone was provided, but since it has already been declassified, the wait most likely won’t be long. Which of the new devices did you like best?

Honor Vision - smart 4K TV on Harmony OS

Huawei-owned Honor brand introduced its first TV in China - Honor Vision. It also became the first device running the Harmony OS operating system, which the company developed for Smart TVs, smartphones and computers.

Honor Vision received a 55-inch UHD matrix with a viewing angle of 178 degrees, a brightness of 400 nits and 87 percent coverage of the NTSC color space, as well as support for HDR10. This is one of the most frameless TVs on the market - with a screen measuring 94% of the usable front panel area. The thickness of the new product at its thinnest point is 6.9 mm.

For video communication and owner recognition, the TV has a built-in Full HD camera, which extends from the top frame. There is a wireless connection mode to a smartphone, in which you can receive calls via Honor Vision, as well as broadcast content from the phone screen to the TV with minimal delay - it works with photos, videos and games. The smartphone can also be used as a control panel with a convenient keyboard and support for voice commands.

Honor Vision is powered by a custom-designed Honghu 818 chipset: 2 Cortex-A73 cores, 2 Cortex-A53 cores and a 4-core Mali-G51 graphics accelerator. A unique function of the chip is image analysis, on the basis of which the most optimal brightness, color and saturation settings are selected, as well as noise is reduced and contrast is increased. The chip is capable of processing video streams in real time with a resolution of 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz.

The processor power is also enough to operate artificial intelligence technologies and launch games from the built-in application store. The TV can also work with smart home devices, allowing you to control lights, sensors and other elements through special software - it also works when controlling a smartphone.

There is no need to buy an advanced audio system in addition to the TV: it is equipped with six speakers with a power of 10 W each and supports Dolby Atmos.
Other useful additions: support for converting HD video to 4K, MEMC technology (increases the smoothness of the output picture) and Bluetooth 5.0 Hi-Res Wireless Audio. Honor Vision will be sold in China in two versions: Vision and Vision Pro, differing in the amount of built-in memory. The cost is 3799 and 4799 yuan (35 and 44 thousand rubles), respectively. iGuides in Telegram - t.me/igmedia iGuides in Yandex.Zen - zen.yandex.ru/iguides.ru
