The video accelerator in the MSM8926 is represented by the Adreno 305 model. Despite belonging to the “300th” series, this modification is an Adreno 225 “hairstyled” for the 28 nm process technology - the flagship model from two years ago. The not-cheapest HTC One S, for example, had similar potential in 3D games, but in modern realities our Ascend G6 is saved only by its low display resolution and desperate optimization of games for budget devices. However, NOVA 3, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Gangstar: Vegas worked much better than we are used to seeing on budget smartphones running MediaTek MT6589T - this is due to good optimization for the Qualcomm platform.

Huawei Ascend G6 is equipped with a 4.5-inch diagonal IPS display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.
Such characteristics in mid-2014 are puzzling. Of course, the explosive growth in resolutions and display diagonals began only two years ago, but the market is already flooded with smartphones with HD matrices starting at 4,500 rubles, and the image quality in the Ascend G6 is stuck at the level of the top models of 2011.
