App Gallery is an updated application store for Android users. Huawei has released an innovative APK that allows you to search for and safely download software to your gadget. Huawei App Gallery - what applications are there?
First, let's figure it out:
App Gallery is Huawei's own store containing games and applications, including exclusive, personal selections, as well as programs that do not require installation.
It is an analogue of Google Play (which is not available on Huawei devices). What applications are there:
The funny thing is that US sanctions prohibited Google from installing its services on Huawei devices. The result is that the company began to create its own, albeit with less functionality supported by the number of applications, but its own. App Gallery is its own store, where there is much less software, so users want to understand what is there.
But many users are interested in one question: what programs are there in the Huawei App Gallery? When it first appeared, of course there were few programs, but the company is trying not to lose users, so it is constantly updating the store with new programs. After all, the company received a good blow from Google - they banned the use of Google services on new Huawei devices, including their store, of course this is very bad. Here it seems that even Google itself is not to blame, these are like some kind of sanctions from the European Union or the United States.
However, there is no information anywhere about the exact list of applications in the Huawei App Gallery. Therefore, I did it differently, however, I advise you to do the same - just open this site:

For my part, I looked at the store and can conclude that many popular programs are there, namely:
- Telegram, Viber, Snapchat, Tinder, Truecaller, CallApp, WeChat.
- Likee, TikTok, MEGOGO, Deezer, SHAREit, Bigo Live, KMPlayer.
- FBReader, eReader Prestigio.
These are the programs that I myself saw in the Huawei App Gallery store. But some are not, or maybe they are, but for some reason not in a visible place. So let's figure it out:
- WhatsApp , Instagram , Facebook are, in a sense, prohibited programs for Huawei; they are prohibited from being published in the store. So what did the company do? They created the AppSearch program, which itself searches for these applications on third-party resources and helps install them directly from there. But AppSearch itself does not download anything, it only makes it as easy as possible to search for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook applications on the Internet. Therefore, what can we conclude - you cannot download some programs from the store, but from third-party sites you can, and the most important thing is that they can be installed on a Huawei phone.
- Google Chrome - it's not in the App Gallery. There is no information on the Internet, except that if you are an advanced user, you can force install Google services, but you need to figure this out (instructions are on the w3bsit3-dns.com forum). However, information was found that Chrome and YouTube can be installed, yes, but only using apk files. But they write that after installing YouTube and launching it, it will swear that there are no Google services, it is impossible to disable notifications. It is also important to understand that Chrome will not support syncing on Huawei devices.

It is a software store, there are many more of them there than in the App Gallery, and what’s most interesting is that you can easily download even Google Chrome from there, which will work. In addition, APKPure not only allows you to install applications, but also monitor their updates.
What conclusions can be drawn:
- In fact, all applications, almost all that you need, can be installed, except for the so-called local ones, for example, taxi applications, ordering pizza, such a program may not be in the store. Just some - it may not be so easy to install, and some functions may not work, some will need to be downloaded from third-party sites.
- You most likely won’t be able to download all the programs you need directly from the Huawei App Gallery. Some, for example, are simply prohibited from being posted there, so they won’t be there. But you can download from a third-party site or even use APKPure - then almost everything can be installed. But again, do not forget that some functions that require Google services may not work.
- If you are an ordinary user, you don’t want to bother with finding the necessary applications, and it’s not a fact that they will work stably, that all functions will work, given that some programs cannot be downloaded just like on Google Play. It’s also worth understanding that, for example, you use a taxi, and they have a proprietary Android application, which is on Google Play, but may easily be absent from the App Gallery. Look for it on third-party sites? It is possible, but this is an inconvenience, and it is not known how it will work.
- If you are a fan of Huawei, of course you can safely buy a smartphone from this company (but be prepared for possible problems). For an ordinary person who buys a phone to use its functions, do not look for applications on third-party sites, do not think about why some functions do not work, so that the phone always works stably and there are no problems in the future with the support of applications and the operation of their functions - unfortunately in this case I advise you to buy phones only with 100% official support for Google services.

Where to download and how to install App Gallery
The presented software is not available on all Huawei phones, so the question arises of how to download the App Gallery. Instructions:
- Go to the official product page - www.huaweimobileservices.com.appgallery.
- The presentation page of the service in question will open.
- Scroll down and find the download button as shown in the screenshot.
- Download the APK file.
- Connect your phone via USB to your computer.
- Then transfer the downloaded file to the device's memory card and remove the USB.

About the application
Initially, the Huawei AppGallery store was available only in China, the company’s homeland. However, there was a war between the American government and Huawei, which resulted in the ban on Google Play and other Google services in the company’s phones – Huawei and Honor. The developers accelerated the pace, and in April 2021, a global version of the store was launched, which became available also in our country. More than two years have passed since then, and the store began to look even better. Its original concept was to add only the best applications with a rating of at least 4.3. On the one hand, such an approach can limit the user. On the other hand, why do you need dozens of programs with the same functionality when you can leave only one or two of the best? The App Store uses a similar approach - getting there is much more difficult than Google Play. Therefore, the Google store is often criticized for a large number of garbage and even harmful applications. Huawei decided to get rid of this problem in its AppGallery.
At the same time, the store has no connection specifically to the company’s devices. You can easily find the application installation file and use it on any device. There is also a way to download Huawei AppGallery on a PC - it’s very simple and free. You will find instructions at the end of this review.
How to change the region in the program
To change the region in the presented program, you need to use the phone settings. Procedure:
- Open Settings and go to the “System and Device” section.
- Go to "Advanced".
- Click on "Region".
- Select the one you need.
To change the region you will need to resort to changing the system settings on your phone. That is, change this item in the parameters, and not in the application.

Why doesn't App Gallery work and what should I do?
The presented service was developed not so long ago, which is why system errors may occur in it. Try installing the program again by deleting it and running the APK file again.
One of the most common problems is the 301 error, which indicates that the connection to the servers has been lost. Typically, connection to the server fails when updates are installed incorrectly or the region is changed. To fix the problem, just update the service or perform a reinstallation.
Also, perhaps you are trying to install the service on a phone from another manufacturer (not Huawei) or there is simply no Internet connection on the phone.
Huawei account: what is it and what is it for?
Combines HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) services. Stores the owner’s personal information (name, gender, age, addresses), saves contacts, protects the smartphone from hacking, and contains information about payment methods, subscriptions, and purchase history.
